Age Division Eligibility: 

The futsal league will consist of two divisions: 

  • Lower Division: Boys and Girls 6-8 years old 
  • Upper Division: Boys and Girls 9-12 years old 
  • A player may be approved to play up a division, but never down (unless there is a disability approved by the Boys and Girls Club staff). Please refer to the different division regulations below:
  • A player’s age on the first day of registration for each sport will determine their age division for that season. Players will remain in that division for the duration of the season, regardless of whether they have a birthday during the season.
  • Example: If futsal registration opens on February 1 and a player is 8 years old that day but turns 9 on February 4, they will remain in the 8U division. If a player turns 9 on January 30, before registration opens, they will be placed in the 10U division.
  • Players may request to move up one age division. Requests must be submitted to BGC Athletics and are subject to approval.
