Masquerade Ball - Friday, Oct. 29th 2021
It is with great excitement we invite you to participate in the Fourth Annual Masquerade Ball as Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley celebrates over 60 years of serving the youth of the Brazos Valley! Big things are in store for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley in 2022 as we embark on moving to our new building located at 1910 Beck Street in Bryan. Fundraising events like the Masquerade Ball will help support this huge move as we embark on a brand new chapter of programming, relaunch of athletic programs, and leadership opportunities for our members.
Join us on Friday, October 29th, 2021 from 8:00 pm - 12:00 am.
The Masquerade Ball is a 21 & up event which will feature the following:
Bring a date, bring a friend or gather up your co-workers for a memorable night out of festive Halloween fun! Whether you have attended an event at the Astin Mansion before or if this year will be your first, we promise it will be a memorable experience for all involved! All proceeds raised from this event benefit the local youth served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley.
The Astin Mansion:
The Astin Mansion was built in 1920 and has a rich history in the Brazos Valley. Both Nina Heard Astin and daughter, Nina Bess Astin, were well-known for their generosity and community involvement. With no heirs to the estate, Mrs. Astin bequeathed the proceeds from the sale of the estate as well as their family trust to this community in the form of the Nina Heard Astin and Nina Bess Astin charitable trusts. The trusts continue to support several of Mrs. Astin’s favorite organizations, scholarship programs and our local Boys & Girls Clubs to this day.
